*WINCHESTER MODEL 1886 LIGHTWEIGHT TAKEDOWN RIFLE. Cal. 33WCF. Standard grade rifle with 24″ tapered round bbl, pedestal mounted ivory bead hunting front sight and replacement full buckhorn Marbles rear sight, uncheckered wood with straight stock and hard rubber shotgun buttplate. Stock and forearm are fitted with sling eyes. SN 158869. CONDITION: Very good. Bbl retains 92-94% dull original blue. Receiver 10-15% original blue with the balance a silver patina. Wood is sound and retains about 95% original varnish with numerous small handling and use marks. The foreend cap sling eye is missing. Bright shiny bore. 4-46524 JR19 (1,250-1,750)
