2nd half 19th century. Highlighted by 10 transfer decorated children’s ABC and Theorem plates decorated with image of General Halleck, Major General N. P. Banks, religious themes, “Louis Napoleon Emperor of France”, “Arrival of General McClellan”, railroad theme, and occupational “Plate Making”. 11 children’s mugs highlighted by soft paste mug with copper luster border “A Present for a Good Girl, Faith”, four mugs with ABC decoration, name mug “John”, two early Criel miniature mugs, and three presentation porcelain mugs. SIZE: Plates range from 5″ to 7-1/2″ dia. Mug height ranges from 1-3/8″ to 2-5/8″ h. PROVENANCE: From a Maine collection. CONDITION: Plates, good to very good, some staining and slight wear.
