WINCHESTER MODEL 1886 RIFLE WITH CASE COLORED RECEIVER.

SN 55840. Cal. .38-66 WCF. 26″ oct bbl with full mag, standard sporting sights, blue and case colored finish, straight grained American walnut stocks with crescent butt. CONDITION: Very good. Bbl and mag tube are a smooth plum/brown patina overall with some high point wear and sharp markings. Bore is bright with strong rifling. Receiver has a silver/gray patina with some speckling especially on right side and generous traces of case color in protected areas. Bolt retains 80% blue finish. Loading gate has generous traces of fire blue. Hammer and lever are dark brown patina with a hint of case color remaining. Tang markings are sharp and clear. Stocks are very good, full size and show a generous amount of orig varnish with slight handling marks overall. Buttplate is a silver/gray patina with traces of case color, as is the forend cap.
