RARE WINCHESTER MODEL 1886 EXPRESS RIFLE.

SN 92336. Cal. .50 EX. 26″ half rnd, half oct bbl. Button mag, 3-leaf rear sight, fine blade front sight, blue finish, nicely figured American walnut stocks with wood buttplate extension and factory sling swivels. CONDITION: Very good. Bbl shows a smooth mottled brown patina overall with sharp markings. Bore is frosty with strong rifling. Receiver is a silver/gray mottled patina overall with signs of cleaning. Hammer and lever are also a smooth gray/brown patina. Tang marks are sharp. Stocks are good, with nicely figured grain, buttstock is missing chips at the tang on both sides of the hammer. Stocks show handling marks and dents under an old refinish, buttstock is slightly undersized. Winchester sling swivels are mounted in the buttstock and on the forend cap. Front loop is missing.
