The journal frontice page inscribed “Journal of a voyage from Portland towards Suranam(?) in the Brigg Nautilus of Portland. William Backer Muster Samuel Stephenson, Portland, Maine”. The journal starts December, 1806 and has 25 pages on both sides handwritten and ends August, 1807. SIZE: Cover is 25″ x 17-1/4″. Pages are 20-1/2″ x 12″. CONDITION: Foxing, tears and areas of staining, generally intact. 9-91828 (800-1,200)
