WINCHESTER SECOND MODEL 1876 DELUXE RIFLE.

SN 39915. Cal. .45-60. 28″ oct bbl, full mag, blue finish, nicely figured checkered American walnut stocks with pistol grip and crescent butt. Lyman tang sight. CONDITION: Very good. Bbl and mag tube are a mottled gray/brown patina with high point wear and some staining, markings are sharp and clear. Sporting sights are very good. Bore is dark with visible rifling. Receiver is a mottled gray/brown patina overall. Elevator is a deep mustard/brown patina. SN mark is sharp. Tang sight is very good. Stocks are very good as refinished, forearm appears to be a replacement, buttstock shows crotch grain on both sides, checkering is sharp, ebony insert is very good. Buttplate and forend cap are a mottled gray/brown patina. A very nice deluxe ’76 rifle with some professional restoration. 51379-7 TEP (4,500-5,500) – Lot 2030
