*WINCHESTER MODEL 1886 SEMI-DELUXE LIGHTWEIGHT TAKEDOWN RIFLE. Cal. 33WCF. Scarce semi-deluxe rifle with 24″ tapered round bbl, pedestal mounted ivory bead front sight, 2-leaf folding rear sight, uncheckered wood with capped pistol grip stock and crescent steel buttplate. SN 126561. CONDITION: Good to very good. Retains 70-75% thin original blue overall, strong on the sides of the receiver. Magazine tube is slightly bulged at the end and the takedown lever is slightly bent. Wood is sound and retains 40-50% original varnish on the stock and a fine hand-patina on the forearm with numerous small nicks and scratches. Strong bright bore, frosty in the grooves. 4-46605 JR16 (1,000-1,500)
