*WINCHESTER MODEL 1873 MUSKET. Cal. 44WCF. Standard musket with 30″ round bbl, square base barleycorn front sight, 800yd musket rear sight, full length forearm with straight stock and case colored buttplate with sliding trap containing a 4-pc all steel wiping rod. Accompanied by an original socket bayonet. SN 569747. CONDITION: Excellent. Retains about 99% strong bright original blue overall. Lever, hammer, trigger and buttplate retain about 99% strong bright case colors. Wood is sound and retains most all of its original finish with several small nicks and dings and a large bruise or two on the forearm and a series of gouges on the toe of the buttstock. Bright shiny bore. The bayonet is original and retains virtually all its bright factory finish with some surface spotting on the socket, shank and one edge of the blade. 4-46600 JR29 (4,000-5,000)
