HANDEL REVERSE PAINTED PEACOCK LAMP.

Handel reverse painted lamp has dome shade with reverse painted peacocks with orange tail feathers and blue bodies on either side of a stylized floral display. The shade is further painted with blue stylized flowers all against a yellow background. Shade is signed on the interior “Handel 7088” and artist signed “Palme”. The shade rests on an original Handel base with floral design impressed around the foot, three legs with a acanthus leaf feet, a 3-socket cluster and fleur-de-lis heat cap. Base is finished in rich brown. Signed on the underside with applied cloth tag “Handel”. SIZE: Shade 17-7/8″ dia. Lamp 24″ t. CONDITION: Shade is very good to excellent.
