LOT OF MOSTLY MILITARY ITEMS. Including 4-pc tin mess kit, 5-1/4″x8-1/2″ nesting rectangular tins with wire handles on two. – Very good. Tin box containing half of an alcohol burner, two of the support pcs. are missing. 1860 officers belt with sword straps and buckle. – Two thirds of the German silver overlay is missing. Belt and sword leathers are cracked and flaking. A frame containing five brass letters from a stencil kit. A New Testament by the American Bible Society in 1862 with Ohio names written inside the front cover, heavy foxing on the end papers, otherwise very good. “NG” cartridge box from Watervliet Arsenal for .45-70. US cartridge box for same, poor condition. Flat pouch for dispatches, poor condition. U.S. stamp, battered. Piece of chain, cast caltrop, seven excavated bullets, a knife, fork and spoon, all fair to good. 4-46987 FS390 (400-800)
