SN 247. Cal. 45 ACP. Hand made copy of 1911 pistol and identified by markings on slide by being Pusan Jin Iron Works. Made for local consumption utilizing some orig U.S. military components. A very close outward resemblance of a 1911 and somewhat close dimensionally. Appears to have left their manufacturing facility in the white as there are no traces of finish after detailed disassembly. A truly interesting in-theater manufactured weapon. PROVENANCE: Gerard Ruth Collection, ex Alex Chauffe SR. CONDITION: Outward condition appears to be fine.
