FAYETTEVILLE CONFEDERATE RIFLE. NSN. Cal. .60, 33″ round bbl. Ramrod and nipple are replacements. Rear sight is missing. Standard lockplate is dated “1864” at the tail, bbl is dated “1862”. Buttplate is marked “CSA” on top. CONDITION: Gray-brown patina with moderate to heavy pitting over all. Several repairs have been made to the wood and new cracks are in the ramrod channel. 1/2″ chunk is missing behind the hammer. Stock has been sanded and varnished. 4-46162 FS719 (5,500-7,000)
