Tall version of a Charles Schneider vase from the Epines (Thorns) series has a reticulated wrought-iron armature of thorns encasing a blown glass insert of dark orange with mottled yellow highlights leading to a flared rim. Signed on the lower portion of vase with etched “Schneider”. Similar examples pictured in the books Schneider by E. Mannoni, pg.112 and Charles Schneider by Joulin and Maier, p.297. SIZE: 20″ t.
