HEAVY PERCUSSION BENCH REST RIFLE. NSN. Cal. 62, 32-1/4″ oct. bbl with heavy stock on the bottom. Rear bbl sight has been removed and a plug inserted. Front sight is modern, the rear sight appears to be from a German Schutzen rifle. The false muzzle is missing. Hammer is a replacement. Lock is marked “H. E. LEMAN /LANCASTER Pa”. CONDITION: Rust-brown patina over all with light active rust on all iron parts. Wood is dirty and oil-soaked. Brass has a dark dirty patina. Front bbl rest is missing. 4-47220 FS689 (600-900)
