*WINCHESTER MODEL 697 BOLT ACTION RIFLE. Cal. 22. Scarce little rifle with 25-1/8″ tapered round bbl, no bbl sights with Winchester A-5 scope on target blocks mounted to the bbl. Rear receiver bridge has a dovetail with slot blank, mounted in a standard Model 69 smooth stock with pistol grip and Winchester hard rubber buttplate. Accompanied by a 5-shot magazine marked “69”. NSN. CONDITION: Metal is excellent. Retains 96-98% original blue with some scattered very fine, light, cleaned surface rust. Stock is sound and retains most of its original finish with light use and handling marks, plugged sling swivel holes in the buttstock and forearm.
