TWO ENGRAVINGS OF THE CONQUESTS OF THE EMPEROR QIANLONG.

18th century. The first depicting a surrender taken from a drawing done by Jean-Denis Attiret, engraved by Jacgues Aliamet, dated 1765. The second depicting the victory of Khorgos, from a drawing by Jean-Denis Attiret, engraved by Jacques-Philippe Le Bas, dated 1774. Both framed under glass. NOTE: For similar examples see Christie’s sale 7592, lot 170, June 5th, 2008. SIZE: Sight 35″ x 20-1/2″. Overall 42-1/2″ x 28-1/2″. CONDITION: Minor toning and creases.
