Japan, 18th century. The painting done in a Chinese style depicting two birds perched on an outcropping of rock surrounding by blossoming chrysanthemum. Calligraphy with seal along right margin. Label on scroll end which reads Kuso Moto Shiseki 1712 – 1786, seal: Katei Aka So Shiseki. Well patinaed polished bone end knobs. SIZE: Overall 76″ x 23-3/4″. Image 45″ x 19-1/4″.
