Scarce Daum four-layer cameo vase is decorated with winter scene of barren trees and snow covered ground made up of a white layer of snow over brown layer of trees, over white contrast layer, all set against an acid-textured red and white mottled sky. The vase is signed on the side of the foot with carved “Daum Nancy” and Cross of Lorraine. SIZE: 10-1/2″ t. PROVENANCE: Rudd Collection, Chicago IL.
