PORCELAIN PLAQUE WITH ENAMELED FIGURES.

China, 20th century. The plaque hand painted with a scene depicting a scholar reciting his latest poem and a young servant seated on the ground with books. The inscription at left side showing a four-stanza seven-character poem with the main idea that eloquent lines are more precious than jade and gold. Comes with wood frame, bearing the name of Wang Da Fan. SIZE: Sight size 28-3/4″ x 8″. Overall 34-1/2″ x 12-3/4″. CONDITION: Very good.
