English cameo scent bottle attributed to Webb is decorated with beautifully wheel-carved owl resting on a branch among leaves of an English Oak tree that encircle body of perfume, set against a clear and internal red background, complete with clear glass stopper, finished with sterling silver hinged collar and cover with hallmarks of Hillard & Thomason, Birmingham, England, 1885. Perfume is unsigned. SIZE: 4-1/2″ t. CONDITION: Very good with minor dents in silver lid, one tiny open bubble in owl wing from the making, a minuscule nick on stopper edge. 51962-13 (10,000-12,500) – Lot 1488
