*BEAUTIFUL PRE-WAR BROWNING SUPERPOSED B-1 12 GA SHOTGUN.

SN 4871. Cal. 12 ga. 30″ bbl. 2-3/4″ chambers. Full length low profile ventilated matted top rib with steel front bead. Single selective trigger, auto ejectors, non-auto safety. Straight grip buttstock checkered in three point pattern of lovely fancy grain European walnut with 14-7/8″ LOP over solid red Silver’s type pad. Forearm checkered in five-point pattern with engraved steel nosecap. French gray receiver is beautiful B-1 pattern rose and scroll engraved on sides. Bottom with fine scroll engraving and marked “Browning” with portrait of John M. Browning. Trigger guard bow with vacant oval surrounded by scroll and tang is scroll and wave border patterns. Housed in a later Browning hard case with woolen interior, orig keys included. Bore diameter: Bottom .728, Top .726. Bore restriction: Bottom .012 (opened), Top .035. Drop at comb: 1-3/8. Drop at heel: 1-7/8. Weight: 8 lbs. 0 oz. CONDITION: Excellent as partially refurbished. Bbls retain approximately 98% factory quality restored blue finish. Buttstock and forearm are excellent, as restored. Checkering is crisp, and there are only very minute handling marks present. Receiver is excellent with minor toning. Engraving is crisp. Mechanics are sound, ejectors in time, trigger selector is stiff. Case is in excellent condition with only minor wear.
