SMALL FRAME VOLCANIC PISTOL. SN 1226. Cal. .31, 3-5/8′ round bbl, engraved frame, marked only “NEW HAVEN CONN./PATENT FEB. 14. 1854” on top of the bbl. CONDITION: Gray-brown patina with light to moderate pitting on iron surfaces, dark mellow patina on the brass. Grips are badly battered and cracked, missing large chunks at the base. Follower and trigger spring screw are replacements. 4-47155 FS423 (3,000-5,000)
