SPRINGFIELD MODEL 1821 CONVERTED MUSKET. NSN. Cal. .69. 42″ bbl. Lock dated 1824. Bbl marked “SP.M.Co” on the left flat. Has period leather and canvas sling. CONDITION: Gray patina overall with moderate to heavy pitting. Wood shows a faint “OHIO” marking, but no inspector marks. Several initials are carved in the left side of the stock. There are other scratches and cracks. Nipple has been replaced and some solder placed on the bbl in that area. 4-46035 FS340 (750-1,500)
