Tiffany & Co. sterling silver chocolate pot in the mixed metal Japanese style has all over martele finish and is decorated with applied silver squash vines as well as gold and copper squash/gourds along with gold squash blossoms. The backside of the pot is decorated with two gold and copper applied dragonflies. Other gold and copper insects are found on various places of the pot. Martele handle is complete with ivory insulators. Signed on the underside “Tiffany & Co. 5125 Makers 665 Sterling Silver and Other Metals 376”. A set of companion pieces in this same pattern is pictured on the cover and on pg.194, fig.267 of the reference book Tiffany Silver by Charles and Mary Carpenter.
