*◊ EXTRAORDINARY MAUSER C96 TRANSITIONAL 1930 COMMERCIAL WITH MATCHING STOCK.

SN 736325. Cal. 7.63MM. Early transitional M1930 with 5-1/4″ bbl, fixed front sight and slip-in 50-1000 rear sight. Short extractor, 2-lug firing pin, small ring hammer. Usual chamber markings, small Mauser Banner on left side of frame and 2-line address on right side of frame. Major parts salt blued. Minor parts fire blued. Broadly serrated walnut panels. Lanyard ring present. Accompanied by orig and matching Mauser Banner shoulder stock with looped hinge and lug with round shoulders numbered with last 3 digits. PROVENANCE: The Friedrich-Wilhelm Dauphin Collection, Germany. CONDITION: Approximately 99% bright orig salt blue with minimal high point wear on rails and leading edge of floorplate, negligible oxidative pin pricks on the right side of magazine well. Minimal wear on bright, fire blued small parts. Grips retain most orig varnish with only minor handling marks. Excellent stock with minor dings and slight discoloration of hinge and lug.
