HANDEL 6688 REVERSE PAINTED TABLE LAMP.

Handel table lamp has dome shaped reverse painted shade in the 6688 pattern with pastel pink and white flowers encircling the shade and rising from the bottom rim to near the top aperture, all against a blue shading to green background. The shade is further decorated on front and back with a yellow, orange and black butterfly hovering above the flowers. Exterior of shade is finished in chipped ice. Signed on the inside edge “Handel 6688”. The shade rests on an original Handel tree trunk base with three socket cluster and square cut out cap with dark brown finish. Base is signed on underside with impressed block letters “Handel”. SIZE: Shade 18″ dia. Lamp 24″ t. CONDITION: Shade is very good to excellent with three miniscule flea bites to bottom rim. Base is very good with some discoloration and blistering to finish. Re-wired with contemporary plastic cord. 51209-3 (7,500-10,000) – Lot 1364
