HANDEL BLACK BIRD TABLE LAMP.

Handel table lamp has reverse painted parrots in colors of blue, orange and yellow, resting among flowers and leaves with butterflies on each side all against a black background. Shade is signed on inside edge “Handel 7449 Palme”. Shade rests on an original Handel three legged base with acanthus leaf design, three socket cluster, square cutout cap and dark brown finish. Signed on the underside with applied cloth tag “Handel”. SIZE: Shade 17-7/8″ dia. Lamp 24″ t. CONDITION: Shade has a splotch of white paint on the interior, not from the making. The splotch does not show through to the exterior, otherwise very good. The base has some casting flaws on the edge of the platform from the making, otherwise very good.
