3 BISQUE HEAD DOLLS.

Largest doll is a French bisque socket head incised “UNIS France 301” with brown glass sleep eyes, long silk upper lashes and lower painted lashes, open mouth with four upper teeth, rosy complexion, on a fully jointed German wood and composition body. In addition there is a bisque socket head incised “79 HANDWERCK”, with brown glass sleep eyes, open mouth with four upper teeth, pierced ears, on fully jointed wood and composition body with the original finish. The smallest doll has a bisque socket head incised “1039 Germany SIMON & HALBIG”, with blue glass eyes that flirt from side to side on a glass rod inside the head. The upper eye lashes are silk and the lower lashes are painted, mouth is open with four upper teeth. She is on a French body with articulation at the shoulders, elbows and wrists, and there is a key wind mechanism in the torso that when wound allows the doll to walk. The original key is intact and has the letters “RD”. Mechanism functions well. SIZE: Largest: 20″ t (51cm). Smallest: 16-1/2″ t (42cm). CONDITION: Overall good. 1-14351-1 (500-800) – Lot 1358
