RARE MOUNT WASHINGTON CUT VELVET VASE.

This cased pink glass with cut velvet design shading from a strong pink at the top to lighter pink towards the bottom has an all over cut diamond design. In addition, it is further decorated with hand-cut decorations of cane and leaf design which have been gilded. There is a large sprig of cane on the front and a smaller sprig of cane on the reverse. Base retains a very old paper label, although somewhat obscured, appears to say “WASHINGTON”?. SIZE: 11″ t. CONDITION: Very good to excellent. 49805-5 (750-1,250) – Lot 1356
