HANDEL STREAM SCENE TABLE LAMP.

Handel table lamp has cone-shaped reverse and obverse painted shade with a woodland stream with rocky banks meandering through a wooded scene done in fall colors of green, brown, red and amber. The foliage and detail work is painted on the obverse, while the tree trunks, rocks and parts of the forest floor are painted on the reverse, giving the scene nice depth. Signed on the interior rim “Handel 5673” as well as on the metal aperture ring “Handel”. The shade rests on an original Handel tree trunk base with three socket cluster, square cutout cap all done in a rich dark brown finish. Signed on the underside “Handel 5339”. SIZE: Shade 18″ dia. Lamp 24-1/2″ t. CONDITION: Shade is very good to excellent. Base is very good with some very minor wear and blistering to finish. 51186-1 (15,000-25,000) – Lot 1346
