SN 11257. Cal. 28 ga. 27-1/2″ bbls. 2-3/4″ chambers. 1/4 raised matted top rib, 3/4 length matted rib. Tops of bbls marked “Atlanta Outfitters GA US Agent” on right tube and “Auguste Francotte Liege” on left tube. Dbl checkered triggers, auto ejectors, non-auto safety. Gorgeous marblecake and fiddleback buttstock checkered in three-point pattern with 14-1/4″ LOP over checkered butt. Splinter forearm checkered in five-point pattern with Curtis push button release and jeweled interior forearm iron. Full sidelock action is coin finished with flying doves in oval on left, two quail in farm scene on right, and about 40% scroll coverage. Engraver’s signature J.VIEVOYE noted on right side of trigger plate. Gold “S” in front of safety. Bushed strikers. Housed in a light brown full leather toe under case with green felt interior. Bore diameter: Right .549, Left .553. Wall thickness: Right bbl .024 , Left bbl .022. Weight: 5 lbs. 10 oz. CONDITION: Excellent, retaining nearly all orig finish to both wood and metal, showing only light field use. Bbls retain nearly 97-98% orig blued finish. Ejectors in time. Buttstock and forearm are excellent with a few minor scratches and rub marks. Checkering is excellent with a few diamonds compressed.
