SN C12978B. Cal. 12 ga. 2-3/4″ Chambers. 29-1/2″ Mono-bloc bbls with hand matted, ventilated rib, are ported, and marked “P. Beretta Italy” on left side of top bbl. Bottom of mono-bloc is stamped with 1991 Italian nitro proofs for 2-3/4″ chambers, and with grade and SN. Coin finished, low profile, Beretta sidelock OU action is nicely filed. Action features single non-selective trigger and non-automatic safety. Action is engraved with sprays of well cut varying sized scroll surrounding floral centers. Bottom of action is gold inlaid “P. Beretta”. “MADE IN ITALY” is in forend mortise. “TRAP” is inlaid in silver on double beaded trigger guard bow. Grade is on tang. Strikingly swirl marbled and lightly figured European walnut flared pistol grip buttstock measures 14-1/8″ over KICKEEZ pad, along anti recoil spring system integral and moving with adjustable (for cast) comb during recoil. Point pattern checkering with line borders is at grip. Matching full one piece forend has Deeley type release. Bore diameter: top -.731, bottom – .731. Bore restrictions: top – .034 (full), bottom – .024 (mod). Drop at heel: 1-7/8″, drop at comb: 1-3/8″. Weight: 8 lbs. 15 oz. LOP: 14-1/8″. Blue ABS Beretta marked case is lined in gray foam. It contains bags for action and bbls. CONDITION: Excellent, slightly used, with some rubs through on blue of bbls, some slight discoloration of coin finish, and a number of light marks in wood.
