*FINE BERETTA SO9 OVER-UNDER 20/ 28 GAUGE TWO BARREL SET SHOTGUN WITH BULINO AND SCROLL ENGRAVING BY F. BIELLI WITH CASE.

SN AAA114B. (1992) Cal. 20 ga. 3″ Chambers. 28 ga. 2-3/4″ Chambers. Both bbl sets are 28″ mono-bloc bbls fitted with flat, matted, solid rib. They are engraved “P. Beretta – ITALY” and with importer (Beretta USA) on top bbl either side of ribs. Bbls are gold inlaid “1” or “2” at rear portions of ribs. Upper left portions of mono-bloc are engraved with caliber and bbl length. Mono-bloc of 20 ga are stamped with 1992 Italian nitro proofs, and 28 ga are stamped with 1999 proofs. Both sets are engine turned on sides. 20 ga bbls are fitted with Briley interchangeable choke tubes. Coin finished, low profile OU action fitted with non-automatic safety and non-selective single trigger, is engraved with makers name on each side, and on bottom. Action is engraved with 60% coverage well cut small scroll surrounding meticulously rendered bulino game scenes of game birds; four pheasant, one flushing, three flying over open mountainous woodlands, on left lockplate, trio of chukar partridge flying over open highlands on right, and a pair of woodcock flushing through alders on bottom. This fine engraving is signed “F. Bielli”, at the bottom of each scene. An imperial crown is inlaid in gold on top lever. Single beaded small bow trigger guard with scroll engraving on bow, has grade engraved on tang. Fine crotch figured American (?) walnut deep pistol grip buttstock measures 14-5/8″ over black “Decelerator” pad. Borderless point pattern checkering is at grip. Each bbl set has its own matching one piece forend with Beretta’s rendition of a Deeley release. 20 ga BBL set: Bore diameter: top -.621, bottom – .622. Bore restrictions: screw chokes. Wall thickness: top – .038, bottom – .037. Drop at heel: 2-1/8″, drop at comb: 1-7/16. Cast off approx 1/2″. Weight: 6 lbs. 11 oz. LOP: 14-5/8″. 28 Ga. BBL set: Bore diameter: top -.551, bottom – .553. Bore restrictions: top – .010 (mod), bottom – .010 (mod). Drop at heel: 2-3/16″, drop at comb: 1-1/2″. Weight: 6 lbs. 12 oz. LOP: 14-5/8″. High quality leather case by Nizzoli with stitched leather corners is lined in dark olive felt, and has dark brown leather Beretta label in lid. Case has space for both sets of bbls, and contains a pair of brass snap caps, and three additional choke tubes in plastic case (two in the gun) and wrench. Also included are four rosewood handled turnscrews and 2-pc rosewood and brass cleaning rod. CONDITION: Excellent, showing limited use, with a small number of minor marks and rubs on bbls, most notably a couple of rubs about 10″ back from muzzles on right side of 20 ga. bbls. Coin finish remains bright overall. Stocks have some light handling marks. Checkering is excellent. Mechanically crisp. Case leather is excellent with a number of rubs and scuffs. Interior cloth is excellent with some light rubs. A fine small bore high end Beretta.
