*BERETTA S06 EELL GAME GUN WITH ENGRAVING BY BERETTA MASTER LUCA CASARI WITH EXTRA BARRELS BY LUTEROTTI, STOCK, AND CASE.

SN C15409B. Cal. 12 ga. 2-3/4″ Chambers. 28″ Orig bbls (fixed chokes) and 31-3/4″ new bbls (Teague ? chokes), are each fitted with matted, ventilated ribs. Orig bbls are marked with gauge and chamber information, as well as Beretta name and address, on left rear, with Beretta USA importer address and “Made in Italy”, along with warning information, on right. Bottom of mono-bloc is stamped with grade, SN, and 2003 Italian nitro proofs. Newly made bbls are unmarked where visible when assembled. Bottom of mono-bloc is stamped “R. Luterotti” and with 2010 Italian nitro proofs. Typical OU, low profile, coin finished, sidelock, Beretta action features single selective trigger. Action and lockplates are engraved with near full coverage finely cut and shaded large open acanthus scroll which surrounds oval vignettes of game birds on lockplates and bottom. A pair of pintail rise from marsh on left plate, and a pair of mallards settle into cattails on right. Bottom of action portrays a woodcock flitting through alders under “BERETTA”. Top of forend iron mortise is engraved “MADE IN ITALY”. Single beaded trigger guard with matching scroll has monogram “RA” inlaid in raised gold on bow, with grade engraved on tang. Engravers signature “L. Casari” (Beretta master engraver, Luca Casari) is on trigger plate. Top lever has pierced thumbpiece and relief gold inlaid crown. Well made, beautifully marbled and lightly figured European walnut extreme pistol grip buttstock with target dimensions measures 14-1/4″ over thin red Silver type pad. Point pattern checkering with line borders is at grip. Gun is accompanied by what appears to be its orig stock, of very fine marbled and figured European walnut with field dimensions, measuring approx 14-1/2″ over black trap type pad, with 1/2″ spacer. Measurement over wood appears to be about 13″. This stock has normal pistol grip with point pattern borderless checkering. One piece forend has checkering that matches stock which is on gun, and serves both bbl sets. Orig 28″ BBL set: Bore diameter: top -.722, bottom – .722. Bore restrictions: top – .035 (full), bottom – .020 (mod). Drop at heel: 2-7/16″, drop at comb: 1-9/16″. Cast: approx 1/4″ off. Weight: 7 lbs. 11 oz. LOP: 14-1/4″. Newer 31-3/4″ BBL set: Bore diameter: top -.731, bottom – .731. Bore restrictions: screw chokes. Drop at heel: 2-3/8″, drop at comb: 1-1/2″. Cast: approx 1/4″ off. Weight: 7 lbs. 14 oz. LOP: 14-1/4″. Tan leather case with stitched leather corners by Nizolli is lined in dark olive cloth, and has brown Beretta label in lid. Case contains four turnscrews (still wrapped in tissue), 3-pc rosewood and brass cleaning rod with mop, brush, and jag in black leather container, and a pair of plastic snap caps. Extra bbls are housed in black plastic case with bag and spare stock has bag, and shipping box. CONDITION: Excellent. Orig bbls show a few light marks, newer bbls have only one or two of the faintest marks. Coin finish of action is excellent. Newer stocks have some very light handling marks, older stock is excellent with some light scuffs. Bores are excellent. Mechanically crisp. Case is excellent. Accessories, as new.
