*BREN TEN SPECIAL FORCES MODEL WITH DARK SLIDE.

SN 84SFD0512. Cal. 10 mm. 4-1/2″ bbl. The BREN TEN produced only between 1983-1986 is considered by firearms enthusiasts to be one of the strongest and most desirable of the 10 MM semi-auto pistols. This model was popularized by its use in the TV series “Miami Vice” as the preferred handgun of character Sonny Crockett. This “Special Forces” dark slide model includes one 10-rnd 10 mm magazine and includes a cardboard shipping box with hand written gun SN applied. This pistol features a push button safety mounted on the slide beneath the cocking serrations for easy and quick access, as well as a thumb safety on the right side of the slide in this case, which can be changed over to the left side for left handed firers. Marked on right side of frame with Dornaus & Dixon ENT., Inc., address and on left of slide BREN TEN SPECIAL FORCES, this specimen was manufactured about a 1/3 of the way through the run of about 1,500 pistols. CONDITION: Overall finish and appearance very good to near excellent. Matte non-reflective blue finish with bright bbl, hammer and trigger. There is some loss of finish on the slide where it contacts with frame rails upon recoil and upon extreme close inspection, the slightest of handling marks on the forward edge of the trigger guard. Hard black composite grips near excellent. This pistol has been fired. The bore is excellent, shiny and bright. This is a great opportunity to acquire a top quality pistol with superior stopping power. 49616-2 JWK28 (2,000-2,500) – Lot 1309
