MT. WASHINGTON ROYAL FLEMISH SNOW GEESE VASE.

Magnificent Royal Flemish vase is decorated with four snow geese in flight against a large sunburst with surrounding panels of blue and teal separated by raised gold gilding and stars. The collar is decorated with gold gilded stylized flowers and leaves surrounding three winged griffins all set against an amethyst background. The reverse of the vase is decorated with gilded stars between colored panels. A similar vase is pictured in Mt. Washington Art Glass by Betty Sisk, p184. Vase retains a tag marked “Jones Museum Exhibit 19”. Unsigned. SIZE: 14-1/4″ t. PROVENANCE: From the Unreserved Collection of Mrs. Jackie & the late Dean Ballard.
