LEADED GLASS CARVED WALNUT SALOON DOOR & THREE-PART LEADED FIRESCREEN.

1) Saloon door has walnut body with three panels at the bottom with an oval leaded glass window at the top. The window has a center round beveled panel with star cut design against a stippled background. The center is surrounded by stylized green and textured clear leaves with a faceted red glass jewel at the bottom of each. Window is bordered on each corner of the door with carved scrolling leaves. Door is finished at the top with carved wooden garland and scrolls. 2) Late 19th/Early 20th Century. The central panel depicting a Victorian lady in red & blue gown wearing a colorful hat. Surrounded by stained glass pieces with flower and scroll decoration. The central figure flanked by shorter panels of amber, amethyst, with a blue panel incorporating eight bullseyes. The arched feet ending in glass balls. Unsigned. SIZE: 1) 24″ w x 45″ t. 2) 44″ h x 35-1/2″ w x 12″ at deepest. PROVENANCE: Firescreen: Originally from a Burlington, VT Estate. CONDITION: 1) Center walnut panel is cracked. Some tight hairlines in window and one triangular piece broken out of a glass panel. 2) Some cracks in glass, otherwise very good. 50441-14 (1,000-1,500) – Lot 1283
