LOVELY FASHION DOLL ATTRIBUTED TO JUMEAU.

Lovely pale bisque doll sometimes referred to by collectors as “Portrait Jumeau fashion” with pale blue paperweight eyes, pale outlined lips, earlobes pierced into the head, on separate shoulder plate with indentation in front of the neck. The all white leather body has separately stitched fingers and only a slight curve at the knee. She has been elaborately re-costumed in plum colored velvet, a mauve silk skirt with gold braid trim and a cream silk bustle covering in back. She has an antique blond mohair wig as well as a newer fancy mohair wig covering the old one. She lacks shoes and original cork pate. SIZE: 21″ t (53cm).
