RARE COLT MODEL 1860 ARMY RICHARDS CONVERSION REVOLVER.

SN 194330. Cal. 44 Colt. Standard configuration, with 8″ rnd bbl conversion, of late production Colt percussion revolver manufactured 1873 and converted circa 1875. Gun appears original complete and matching with good crisp markings. PROVENANCE: The Brad Shepherd Collection. CONDITION: Good overall, matching SNs found on bbl, frame, cyl, trigger guard and backstrap. Metal overall cleaned and gray with numerous small dings, dents and other blemishes. Cyl retains discernible rolled Naval battle scene with traces of finish is protected areas along rebate. Bbl retains traces of blue finish in protected areas around ejector housing. Brass trigger guard retains strong traces of silver in protected areas. Grips are poorly fit, worn with numerous bruises, scratches and other blemishes, heavy edge wear, tacking marks and each toe chipped especially right front.
