COLT THIRD MODEL DRAGOON REVOLVER. SN 17173. Cal. .44. 7-1/2″ part oct. bbl. Two blade rear sight has been cut through the bbl address. “U.S.” acceptance mark on left of frame, inspector initials on cylinder and trigger guard. Faint “WAT” cartouche on right side of grip, visible but not readable cartouche on left side of grip. Several screws have been replaced. CONDITION: Gray-brown patina overall with light to moderate pitting on most surfaces. The brass trigger guard is battered on the sides and front. Cylinder scene is about half visible, mechanically good. 4-46315 FS22 (8,000-12,000)
