SN 4748. Cal. 20 ga. 25″ bbls of fluid steel with sunken rib. Rib marked “E.J. Churchill, O St. Gun Works, Leicester Square, London”. 2-1/2″ chambers as marked on water table. IC & MOD chokes. Case colored boxlock ejector action with borderline engraving. Dbl triggers. Splinter forearm, straight hand walnut stock with hand checkering having silver nameplate on toeline. LOP: 14-1/8″ to wooden butt with hand cut grooves. Drop at comb: 1-3/4″. Drop at heel: 2-1/4″. Weight: 5 lb 2.6 oz. Leather covered case with previous owner’s initials on lid. Case with small attached plastic labels with maker’s name and address. Case contains snap caps and 2-pc ebony rod. CONDITION: Bbls have lightly faded blue finish showing spots of wear with scattered handling marks with freckles of corrosion. Good bright bores. Frame retains most of its case colors becoming light on sides and edges having scattered freckling.
