WEDGWOOD FAIRYLAND LUSTRE GHOSTLY WOODS COVERED VASE.

Large Wedgwood Fairyland Lustre covered vase; shape 2046 is decorated with a center gnarled tree in browns and black which has creature’s heads seemingly growing out of the ends of branches. Scary faces seem to appear out of the hollowed trunk and a white rabbit flees the tree in the foreground. Various other dwarfs and imps peer from behind trees in the background. Vase is completed with its original cover which is decorated with dense foliage, with imps faces peering out between the leaves. Vase is signed on the underside with Portland vase mark, “Wedgwood England” and “Z 4968”. Also carries a paper Issod Collection tag. SIZE: 16″ t. PROVENANCE: Betty & Leonard Issod Collection.
