Pressed bisque socket head incised “Depose E7J”, having brown paperweight eyes, closed mouth with heart shaped upper lip, well painted brows and lashes, attached by original coil spring to a wood and composition body, stamped on torso “JUMEAU MEDAILLE D’OR PARIS”. Body finish is original and has straight wrists and separated fingers. Blond mohair wig is original and retains its original celluloid comb and the dress is of period vintage, made of velvet and antique lace. Boots are blue leather with a keystone logo on the sole. The black and gold outer silk dress and matching hat are those similar of those used by the Munich Milk Maids. SIZE: 16-1/2″ t (43cm). PROVENANCE: The Madelyn Trotter Collection.
