EXTREMELY RARE EARLY COLT 1861 NAVY WITH FLUTED CYLINDER AND TWO DIGIT SN.

SN 73. Cal. 36. 7-1/2″ rnd bbl with 1-line N.Y. America Address. Blade front sight. Fully fluted cylinder. Frame marked on left side “Colt’s Patent”. 1-pc walnut grips, brass front and backstrap. All numbers matching. Housed in an old brown leather Slim Jim holster with flap. PROVENANCE: The Estate of G. W. “Bill” Stewart of Sonora, Texas. CONDITION: Very good overall. All metal services having been cleaned and show scattered minor pitting and corrosion. Grips are excellent with great fit. Minute loss at toe. Mechanics are very good.
