*LOT OF TWO MARLIN MODEL 27-S SLIDE ACTION TAKEDOWN RIFLES.

1) MARLIN 27-S. NSN. Cal. 25 RF. 24″ oct bbl, plain front sight, semi-buckhorn rear sight. Takedown receiver. Button release on right side. Dark walnut with unusually nice figure, straight grip stock with smooth forend. Steel crescent butt. CONDITION: Good plus. Barrel and magazine tube have majority of their orig blue. Scattered dings and wear to sharp edges. Action bar going to silver. Receiver maintains a majority of its bright blue with minor scratches, edge wear. Left side toning to patina. Screws fine. Forend and buttstock sound and fit nicely. Shows nice amount of orig varnish with some areas of thinning and scattered handling marks. Buttplate toning to silver. Bright bore, strong rifling. Mechanics good. C&R 2) MARLIN 27-S. NSN. Cal. 25 RF. 24″ rnd bbl, sporting bead front sight, semi-buckhorn rear sight. Takedown receiver. Sliding button on right side of receiver. Walnut grooved forend and straight grip stock. Steel crescent buttplate. CONDITION: About fine. Barrel and magazine tube retain most of their orig bright blue with slight wear at muzzle. Scattered handling marks. Wear to action bar. Receiver has nearly all of its orig deep blue with wear to sharp edges and faint scratching. Trigger guard and tang show little wear. Model designation on top tang filled with white highlight. Orig wood finish with some scuffing, wear and scratching. Minor dings and bumps scattered throughout. Bright bore, sharp rifling.
