*VEDETT ELECTRIQUE DOUBLE BARREL SHOTGUN. Cal. 12ga. French made shotgun with 27-5/8″ bbls, tapered matted rib with single brass bead with typical French ribs, dbl lump with third fastener, extractors and dbl. triggers. Box lock receiver has a single large scallop, is slightly rounded without decorations except deep engraved lightning bolts on the fences. Rear of the triggerguard has a grip safety with no manual safety. The boss of the thumb lever has a gold inlay with the makers name and other information. Wood is nicely figured French walnut with checkered splinter forearm and straight stock, 14-1/8″ over a serrated horn buttplate with 1/8″ cork spacer. It has large fingernail shaped elliptical smooth side panels at the receiver. Accompanied by three sheets of information in French. SN 6000. CONDITION: Very good. Retains about all of a fine professionally restored finish to both metal and wood retaining virtually all its fine bbl blue and dark case colors.
