Receive,r Barrel and magazine tube retains nearly all orig blue with slight handling marks. Upper and lower tangs show slight wear. Forend and buttstock remain sound w/handling marks and abrasions in finish. Left top of buttplate cracked. Mechanics good. Bore would benefit from cleaning. C&R 2) SAVAGE SPORTER. SN 95656. Cal. 22 LR. Model 23A Sporter bolt action with 23″ bbl, org sights incl rare receiver mounted peep w/adjustment knobs. Savage marked magazine. Steel buttplate with “SVG” logo. Accompanied by Factory box w/wood dividers and orig end label which describes gun. SN handwritten on top of box. CONDITION: Very good plus. Barrel and receiver retain nearly all orig blue. “SAVAGE SPORTER” on bbl top highlighted in white. 1-pc buttstock is sound with high gloss finish. Bright bore. Good mechanics.
