TIFFANY STUDIOS PEONY TABLE LAMP.

Tiffany Studios table lamp has leaded glass shade with red, orange and pink peony flowers and shaded green stems and leaves all against a rich striated blue background. Shade is signed on inside rim “Tiffany Studios N.Y. 1505”. Shade rests on a large Tiffany Studios stick base with four socket cluster and acid etched heat cap. Base is finished in a rich brown patina with strong green highlights, heat cap has brown patina. Base is signed on the underside “Tiffany Studios New York 531”. SIZE: Shade 22″ dia. Lamp 30-1/2″ t. PROVENANCE: This lamp was sold at Christie’s New York in April 1995 and was from the estate of Helen Rockefeller Bowler. The lamp is accompanied by a photocopy of the Christie’s catalog cover along with a photocopy of the catalog page with lamp photo and description. CONDITION: Shade is very good to excellent with some tight hairlines and no missing glass. Base is very good to excellent with some minor wear to patina.
