TIFFANY STUDIOS TURTLEBACK FLOOR LAMP.

Tiffany Studios floor lamp has leaded turtleback shade with a single row of green turtleback tiles surrounding the shoulder of the shade. Each turtleback tile is finished with a blue, purple and gold iridescent exterior. The turtleback band is set against a heavily mottled green geometric background. Signed on inside rim “Tiffany Studios New York 1487-1”. Shade rests on a Tiffany Studios junior floor base with onion decoration surrounding the platform and applied bronze wire stems extending up column of the base which is complete with a six socket cluster and replacement heat cap. Base is finished with a light brown statuary patina. Signed on the underside “Tiffany Studios New York 379”. SIZE: Shade 20-1/2″ dia. Lamp 65″ t. CONDITION: Shade is very good to excellent with one geometric panel having a tight spider crack with only a few other panels having tight hairlines. Base is very good with some wear and discoloration to patina. Re-wired with appropriate cloth cord. Two screws missing from underplate. 50766-6 (25,000-35,000) – Lot 1222
