TWO PORCELAIN PORTRAIT PIECES.

1) Porcelain vase has gold body with blue neck. The gold body is decorated with rows of turquoise enamel beading all surrounding a center cartouche with nicely detailed woman’s portrait. Vase is marked on the underside “Dresden”. 2) Porcelain fleur de lis shaped box features nicely detailed young woman’s portrait surrounded by gold with rows of blue enamel beading as well as a green section towards the top with gold enamel floral design. Sides of the box are done in green with gold enameled flowers. Box is signed on the underside “RC Bavaria” with a crown and titled Meditation. SIZE: Vase is 6″ t. Box is 8″ l x 5-1/2″ w. PROVENANCE: George Klabin Collection. CONDITION: Vase is very good with two chipped turquoise beads on the backside.
